Last updated: January 25, 2017 In my search for the best sugar replacement for coffee, I stumbled across Xlear Xylosweet (xylitol), which is the cleanest tasting sugar substitute I’ve tried. So, this quick article gives you the full scoop on my Xlear Xylosweet review, and reveals what makes xylitol the ideal sugar substitute for a hot, natural and healthy cup of coffee.
Why you can trust this Xlear Xylosweet review (notes from a coffee addict)
As a coffee addict, I drink at least two steaming hot cups of joe every morning.
With my coffee, I take lots of cream, and lots of sugar.
But after drinking thousands of these hot, sweet and creamy drinks, I finally realized that enough is enough…
How I declared Xlear Xylosweet (xylitol) the best sugar replacement for coffee
Xlear Xylosweet is a natural sugar substitute that’s made entirely from xylitol. Xylitol is a natural sugar alcohol found in fruits and vegetables.
I’m obsessed with xylitol as a sugar substitute for the following reasons:
- It tastes great
- Xylitol doesn’t raise your blood sugar level
- It will improve your oral hygiene
- Xylitol contains 40% fewer calories than sugar
Better yet, the Xlear Xylosweet sweetener is ultimately the best brand of sugar substitute I’ve tried because…
- It tastes much ‘cleaner’ than sugar
- It instantly evaporates in my coffee (no thick chunks)
- It doesn’t contain any nasty additives or harmful chemicals
- Pure xylitol has been used safely for decades, and is generally held in high regard by the dental community
But, regardless of whether you choose Xlear Xylosweet as your main sugar replacement or not – you still need to be cautious of most sugar replacement products on the market today.
Why you must be careful about choosing a sugar replacement for your coffee
When I was originally searching for a good sugar replacement for my coffee habit, I came across a product called Ideal No Calorie sweetener.
Ideal No Calorie claims to be made from Xylitol. So, I naturally thought that everything was fine. I ordered the product.
But, after receiving my bag of the Ideal No Calorie sweetener, I noticed that it actually contained sucralose. Sucralose is the main ingredient in Splenda, and is a potentially dangerous artificial ingredient that I want nothing to do with.
What’s even worse is that when I continued my search for the best sugar alternatives for coffee, I realized there were hundreds, if not thousands of sugar substitutes on the market that are even more harmful than sugar.
To be fair, there’s no rock-solid evidence that suggests sucralose is harmful to humans. But, recent studies have shown that mice developed leukemia and other forms of blood cancer after ingesting sucralose over the course of the experiment.
So, I think I’ll play it safe, and stick with sugar substitutes for coffee that have proven to be fit for human consumption (like xylitol).
You too have to be extremely careful about the sugar substitute that you decide to consume.
Overall, finding the best sugar replacement for coffee is not an easy process.
People have been trying to ‘trick’ their brains with sugar substitutes for many years now. But the problem has always been that most sugar substitutes either taste terrible, harm your health or are no better than consuming regular sugar.
Thankfully, the people at Xlear can be trusted to provide a pure, natural sugar substitute that doesn’t taste bad, contain questionable ingredients, or make you feel guilty about sweetening your coffee.
I can’t recommend Xlear Xylosweet enough. It’s now the main sugar substitute that I take with my coffee.
I genuinely believe that you’ll enjoy it too.
P.S. Since using Xlear Xylosweet, I’ve also found that Xlear has an entire lineup of products made from Xylitol. I recently tried their Xlear Spry spearmint chewing gum, and found it to be great gum to chew after drinking coffee.
